The NEBOSH International General Certificate is based on international standards and best practice. It is made up of three units which must be successfully completed within five years to achieve the NEB0SH International General Certificate Qualification:
Unit IGC1: Management of International Health and Safety

» Health and safety management systems - Plan
» Health and safety management systems - Do
» Health and safety management systems - Check
» Health and safety management systems - Act
» Assessed by a two hour written exam
Unit GC2: Control of International Workplace Hazards
» Workplace Hazzards and Risk Control
» Transport Hazards and Risk Control
» Musculoskeletal Hazards and Risk Control
» Work Equipment Hazards and Risk Control
» Electrical Safety
» Fire Safety
» Chemical and Biological Health Hazards and Risk Control
» Physical and Psychological Health Hazards and Risk Control
» Assessed by a two hour written exam
Unit GC3: Health and Safety Practical Application
» Candidates should appear for the two written exams and one practical assignment (IGC3) based on work place. We also have mock examination setup for our candidates which is easy for them to evaluate their knowledge before writing examinations.
The NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Safety and Health is a qualification recognized worldwide. It deals with a range of workplace hazards and methods of control, underpinned by international legislation, guidance and standards. Successful candidates can potentially gain employment anywhere in the world and in any industrial sector.
Prior Knowledge:
This course does not require delegates to have prior knowledge on health and safety, but delegates must be able to understand and write English.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a NEBOSH certificate and they can apply for a membership with Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) and/or International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) as its qualification meets the academic requirements for Technician Membership (Tech IOSH) of IOSH and Associate Membership (AIIRSM) of the IIRSM.
The Certificate is for personnel e.g. health and safety beginners, managers, supervisors, non-safety specialists etc. with health and safety responsibilities and who need a grounding and recognized qualification in occupational safety and health.
